Good High School courses would be anatomy, physiology, chemistry, foreign language, and statistics. Colleges you could go to are Madison State College, and Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. To become a surgeon you have to have a state medical license. To advance in your job by developing new surgical methods and techniques.
Nature of Work
Things that you would do day to day would be removing organs, and reconstructing injured body parts. They work long hours, and irregular hours too. Sometimes they can be on call and have to go back to work. To advantages to this career are you get to help people and you make a lot of money, and disadvantages to this career are that you see people die, and you work long and weird hours.
